Connect your Instagram account
In WordPress, click “Connect Instagram”. Instagram asks your permission to read your profile and posts: you allow it, that's all. You need a professional account (free).
Your posts come in
The first import brings in your whole history. After that, Folio Sync checks for new posts every hour and renews the Instagram access by itself.
You choose what is shown
Each post becomes WordPress content: image, caption, date and a link to the original. Hide one in a click, change a title, add a comment or a project that isn't on Instagram.

Folio Sync reads your profile and your posts, nothing else. It never posts or comments, and never accesses your messages or other people's accounts.
Everything stays on your site
The Instagram access is kept by your WordPress site, not by us. Our connection service passes it on in under five minutes and keeps no copy of it, nor of your posts.
You can stop anytime
A “Disconnect” button in WordPress, or remove the app in Instagram's settings. The imported posts remain yours.
Transparency about AI
In the Pro version, the image and its caption are sent to Google (Gemini) to write the description. Privacy policy.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a special Instagram account?
A professional account (Business or Creator). It's free and takes two minutes in Instagram's settings.
Is my website compatible?
You need WordPress 6.5 or later, with PHP 8.1 or later. The gallery is a block of the WordPress editor: it fits into any page.
What if I edit a title or a text in WordPress?
Your version is kept. Syncing never overwrites what you have edited.
And if I delete a post on Instagram?
It is automatically removed from your website at the next sync, without being erased from WordPress.
Why “access by invitation”?
Meta (Instagram's company) reviews every app before it opens to the public. Until then, we add your account as a tester: write to us and we'll guide you.
How does the Pro subscription work?
€49 excl. VAT per year for one site, up to 300 images described per month. You receive a key to paste into the plugin settings.
